Who we are

findrealfood (www.findrealfood.ie) is an Irish artisan food producer directory. References to “we”, “us”, or “our” in this policy refer to the operator of findrealfood.ie.

What data we collect

We collect personal data in two contexts:

• Producer listings: name, email address, phone number, farm address, Eircode, county, and any other information submitted through the producer listing form.
• Buyer enquiries: name and email address submitted through the contact form on a producer profile page.

How we use it

• Producer data is used to create and display their public directory listing.
• Buyer enquiry data is forwarded to the relevant producer so they can respond directly. We do not retain buyer email addresses beyond this.
• We do not sell, share, or pass personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

Legal basis (GDPR)

We process producer data on the basis of consent — producers submit their information voluntarily for the purpose of being listed in the directory. We process buyer enquiry data on the basis of legitimate interest in facilitating direct contact between buyers and producers.

Data retention

Producer listing data is retained for as long as the listing is active. Producers may request removal or amendment of their listing at any time by contacting us. Buyer enquiry data is not stored by us beyond forwarding to the producer.

Your rights

Cookies

This site does not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Session data required for producer login is stored in a secure browser cookie and is deleted when you log out.
